The Fourth PieceLong ago, there lived a young man from Ordon named Link. After many trials and countless hardships, hedestroyed Ganondorf and became the savior of Hyrule and the Hero of the Two Realms. When asked to become Captain of the Hyrule Guard, he declined, to everyone’s surprise, and laid the Master Sword to rest, swearing never to lift it from its pedestal again. He lived a long and happy life with his childhood friend Ilia, occasionally visiting Hyrule Castle on the anniversary of Ganondorf’s death.
